Well, apparently, the Charge is a CDMA phone, and I wanted to take it to AT&T, which is GSM. I am reading now that this phone will not be usable on AT&T's network. Is this true, then I have wasted a lot of time trying to get this phone unlocked. Any comments???

I have gotten the phone rooted successfully, and now I need to get a file manager that will allow ,me access to the system so I can edit the APN settings. I dl'ed Es file manager, and superuser allowed it, and then it says it is not allowed. I still am no closer to getting this phone to my new...

Can anyone here help me to unlock my Samsung Droid Charge? Verizon will not release the unlock info, so am now stuck with this phone, and cannot use it with my carrier. Thanks in advance. Vic

I am trying to set an APN on my Samsung Charge. When I go to the Settings/Wireless & Networks/mobile Networks/ there is supposed to be an APN setting, but there is not. How do I correct this, so I can set the APN for a carrier, or is it even necessary? Thanks, Vic:(
