Got it on contract for $199. Store was having boxing day sale so got $175 off + a gear for $50. So in total, a Note 3 and a Samsung Gear for $75.

How Netflix works is it plays every video at a low quality for a few minutes while it looks at your resources to see if HD capability is available (bandwidth-wise), it then adjusts the quality to the best it can, if you have a good connection it'll play HD, otherwise it won't.

Yes just a forced close. It'll start back up if you run something that uses it. The service just indexes files the first time you put them on your device to make it easier to search for them. On 4.3, Settings > Controls > Application Manager > ALL > IndexService > Force Stop.

Usually happens if you have lots of large files on your system. Try closing system.index and see if that helps, it should. Settings > Applications > All applications and look for system.index.
