A dirty/broken usb port will cause a phone to boot up Gear VR? .... so far the solution I came up with is force stopping Gear VR services, rebooting and then it charges via cable. Thanks for the reply though

Everytime I plug my phone in to charge it doesn't charge, flickers and a black screen with white x's at the bottom (I believe it's gear vr). Problem is intermittent. Tired multiple cords/chargers, clearing cache, reset/reboot and even a factory reset. Only thing that works is my wireless...
