    Never mind damn thing turned itself on again... Real solution foreals this time Settings>More Settings>Mobile networks>Connections optimizer>Uncheck box that says "automatically select best mobile network"

    Oh SNAPS. I had the same problem, which landed me here but I just figured it out. Settings>Wi-Fi>hit menu button and go to Advance>Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep and check NEVER!
