"Go to applications manager and enable viewing of system apps. You will see Samsung Mirrorlink 1.1 that you should be able to stop and disable. I had the same issues but this worked for me." i just disabled mirrorlink, hope this works! will test it out tomorrow.

note 2 still runs fine but is getting too far behind the latest tech. too many apps (and their data) that can't go to SD means i have to delete some to make room for new. plus this camera is just meh and i hate carrying around a separate camera.

Thanks for the tip. I think this worked. I sometimes really hate advances in technology. I miss the days of riding my bike to buy penny candy. Life was simple then. No worries. A sling shot and magnifying glass were enough to keep me happy.
