Hello hello, I've googled but only came up with posts from last year at the latest. Can someone recommend me a decent rom for the s4 that's efficient in performance and battery life? I currently use cricket so I'm just wondering if rooting will be any different depending on carrier.

I was just wondering, which is the most effecient/less bloated/battery sucking rom that they have for this phone. I just got it, I haven't rooted it yet, but hopefully the tutorial in this forum about it is still up to date and sound.

Found a fix for the sms split. Just install the message apk from another rom, after you send a picture the layout will revert to the original rom and will have the sms split work :D

How do you use it so that when you make a new rom you don't have to reinstall all the apps you had? Also what apks should i freeze (i assume that saves battery and memory). I just froze the home thing and then ended up freezing my phone -.-;;.

I personally like gingersnap the best. mirage seems to always freeze on me when I use swype over time and bugs out on me. That's just preference tho

Ok in my other thread, my problem is confused with another one. I found gingersnap to be the most stable when I use swype and it doesnt crash as much. Only thing is that like it doesn't have an SMSsplit option in the message settings I'll list what's there exactly. As you can see, no setting...

I did open the settings in the message and it doesn't have sms settings, just mms settings and other ones. im using gingersnap 2.3

Re: Need some serious help here I'm unable to send large texts to others. Usually when you go over 1 txt block it will automatically go into two. However, my text doesnt get sent out at all and I have to cut part of it every time to send out my message. any fix for this?
