Agreed. Still not sure that's likely due to the US governments disdain for Huawei equipment in cellular networks. I'm sure they would have even more cause for concern with Huawei working with US banks and financial markets.

Same. I'm on the fence regarding the Axon 7 due to the larger size and unlit buttons on the front. I would much rather prefer on screen buttons. Hell of a device otherwise.

I agree. The build quality on the Honor 8 is excellent. Not sure if the OP got a defective unit or if they just don't prefer the smooth glass feeling of the back but myself and numerous bloggers / reviewers all agree that the build quality is superb.

Will the Honor 8 support 256 QAM and/or 4x4 MIMO technology on supported US networks? I've received notice that the 256 QAM may be specific to Qualcomm based processors. Just wanted clarification. Thank you.
