There are some "Fake" SD card being sold out there in the market place. Some tooting being larger than they really are and give people all kinds of fits. Could it be that the issues the readers encounter are from sub standard cards? That would explain a lot of why some work and some do not...

Can one update the Valet through Google from the 4.1.1 to another Android version or at leat patch the OpenSSL version that came with it?

Did you charge it first for about 8 hours before trying it? I have had no problems. Just push and hold the button the ANDROID name appears and then there is a lock icon. Move your finger on it and push it up and it's unlocked.

Yes. I found the Skype app and downloaded and installed it.

I have the D2 Pad with the 9" screen. D2-912_BK All I was interested in doing was instalilng a Google Play Store app on it so I could download a couple of programs from that Google Play Store. I do not have G mail but do have a Google username and password.
