Go for Razr HD !! I had S3 for over 3 months and exchanged it for Razr HD. I could not be happier. If call quality,signal strength are important to you, the do NOT even think of S3. Other things are almost similar with some better in one and some better on the other.

I had an S3 foe 3 months. The reception was terrible terrible. I changed the phone 2 times but no avail. I finally exchanged with Droid HD. Droid HD was awesome. Great clarity. No issues with one GB. Maybe that was the reason they did not care about it. Go in for it. You will enjoy.

It looks that way but its not actually so. I observed mine too. It's a feature not a defect :-)

Photogd, Motorola phones are one of the best if not THE BEST. I had read only great reviews about Maxx mostly. Either you have a lemon or more probably your carrier has a poor coverage in your area. Check with other models with the same carrier. I have droid Razr HD now. I exchanged my S3 after...

I have an S3. The signal is aweful. I spoke to Verizon but to no avail and later sent to Samsung for repair. No use. It's just the same and additionally now I feel I'm getting a headache whenever I use it. Looks like the radiation level had gone up but not signal strength. -97 was the lowest...
