Thanks, it did work...kinda. The update did show up again, downloaded, but I left it again and after I checked it is still on 5.02. Oh well. OK Google...what now?

The OTA downloaded today, I started the install and walked away. When I looked again the tablet was restarting. When I checked I still had 5.02 and the update check said I had the latest software. Anybody know what comes next? Thanks, V

How much does the case weigh? The device is 425 grams how much does the device/case combo weigh?

It's on the pull down panel between 'Airplane Mode' and 'Flashlight Mode' on my N9 (pull down all the way with two fingers). There is also a setting (in text) in 'display' in the settings screen. Have you tried a reboot or cold start? Good luck, V

Re: Anyone with a recently bought model having issues? Wow! I'm in at around 5 hours. Internet, magazines/comics, some games but not the highly graphic oriented ones. I also watch some video and I suspect that that is where I'm losing ground. Still a great tablet. I'm enjoying it. I just hope...

The app that I used was: OTG Disk Explorer Lite. You cannot do too much with the lite version except to prove the concept. The full version, OTG Disk Explorer Pro, is a for pay app. I'm waiting for ES File Explorer to work with Lollipop and usb. They are close but still have a few bugs to work...

OK so no joy here. I've read that this update is not exactly correct (hardware issues?). We'll have to wait patiently for a new release. I'd love to post the link but I'm not allowed. It's from a thread over at xdadevelopers in the Nexus 9 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum. Cheers, V

Thanks everyone. I'm guessing that there is something 'different' about the 9. I guess I'll just have to wait for a cable that specifically says it will work with it.

Hi, I bought an OTG cable off of ebay (2 for .99!). It was supposed to work with the Nexus 7/10 and Samsung. Works fine with Samsung Galaxy II but no joy with the Nexus 9. Has anyone been able to get an OTG cable working with their 9? Thanks, V

The update popped up here too. I got the error and after a few minutes shut down by holding the button. Restarted the tablet and all was good. Don't know if the install completed. Does anyone know how to tell if the update was installed? The tablet now reports no update available. Thanks, V

Re: Anyone with a recently bought model having issues? I've had mine (Black 32gb) for about a week now. No flex in the back, I haven't noticed any light leaks. It's fast and using it with an AC router makes it feel like a desktop. Just wondering if it's just my combination of programs and...
