thanks, I forgot to say that I already set it to unknown sources and I still can't install

Hi guys, I'm having difficulties side loading apps .apk (not from the play store) on my N7. I download an app from dropbox,the install window appears but when i tap install nothing happens, by the way my N7 is rooted, could this be the reason my apps aren't installing?? please help :(

In my experience these IPS screen need time to warm up,in some cases a week, so you may have to put up with a washed out screen for that long. I've also found a colour cast issue with t N7 screen that I've tried to deal with in the "Nexus 7 screen: yellow colour cast" thread.

Hey guys, I created a thread called "Nexus 7 screen: yellow colour cast" that may help this problem.

As you may have read from my "Washed Out Screen" thread im Kinda obsessed with the N7 screen, it has now come to my attention that my N7 screen has quite a considerable yellow colour cast,obviously this will make white's' well, not white,this has raised the questions, is this common to the N7...

are you sure about your network being 2.5ghz??,because The N7 can't connect to 5ghz networks.

all I can suggest is to delete your network and create one from scratch.

Hey guys and girls, as the creator of this thread I'm going to to have to say that my screen seems to be ok now, its like another N7 took its place,the colours aren't as vibrant as an amo screen but thats what you get with IPS technology,lets hope that it stays like this,so the rumours are...

I'm sure the N7 can't connect to 802.11n, I may be wrong, open a thread ?

All new products have issues,this is a consumer product law, from the iPhone to BMW cars, these issues iron out over time, just return your faulty N7 ;)

Return it, the problem will just get worse over time, your warranty will run out,then what will you do?,if your replacement is even worse, return it;)

I would suggest that you download the movie or tv show via a torrent on your desktop, and the transfer said file to your N7 and the use an app like MX Player to play it. hope this helps:)

I'm sure there are a lot of n7 owners that don't even realise their N7 screens suck, I was taken in for a while because movies still look amazing even though apps on the home screen look like colour e-ink :-\

you may want to check your modem bandwidth, newer modems can run at 5Ghz and older ones at 2.5Ghz, the N7 can only connect at 2.5Ghz, if your modem/router is set and 5Ghz your N7 won't connect to the internet, Google saving money,it is only $200 after all;) its Ghz or Mhz, I can't remember.
