Update: Well after over a month of trying different messaging apps and different settings that made no difference, i finally installed GroupMe, a group messaging app and yay! Finally able to text a group of three iphoners in one message thread and have everybody see everyone else's responses...

Whats the correct way to store a phone number? I recently redid all my contacts, categorizing them all as a google contact. I noticed the most of my numbers are listed in the format: (204) 111-1111 While some are stored as +1 204-111-1111 Which format is correct? Can this affect group texting...
