I definitely think it's an improvement. I like the new fonts ( I know they have had mixed reviews). I find them more readable and clearer. Overall nicer look and feel
When doing screen share on S9+ using Smart View, does it support WQHD, or is it FHD (assuming receiving device supports it)?
Also, do the apps like NetFlix, Amazon Prime, Youtube, Youtube TV stream in WQHD?
I have found that setting the Performance Mode to Entertainment (Settings > Device Maintenance > Performance Mode) helps. Smart View is still not as smooth as my old S8+ and occasionally gets shaky, but it's better than with the default perf mode.
Thanks for the reply. Has anyone else had positive experiences with Smart View, without this problem? I want to send back my device for a replacement, but I'm worried the replacement will have the same problem
Ok thanks for the info. The proposed solution is probably beyond my Galaxy tech capabilities, but that's OK. It is an awesome phone even with the "long press" context menu.
I know that if long press the new "current apps" button, it will give me the context menu. (I also know they have a new way of getting to the context menu in most apps in the top right.)
I use the context menu button much more often than current apps. Is there any way to set it back to the S4...
I have not installed a new keyboard on my S5 (maybe that's what I need to do). When doing the quick typing where I keep my finger on the keys for a word, it keeps thinking I want to use a special character (which I never use). Can I disable the special keys? If not, what is the best...
