I have the same problem. I don't think it is Cid issue. I completely removed the ota update from my storage and attempted to update and got the same error! That tells me the phone can't find the update in storage. Sent from my HTC One using AC Forums mobile app

Try selecting a different APN. I had a similar issue when I moved my SIM from Atrix2 (att) to HTC GPe. My phone was stuck on hspa although LTE was available. I tried other APNs and it worked. Sent from my HTC One using AC Forums mobile app

I got it fixed! I went back to stock recovery, wiped and flashed stock ZVD. Rooted (su,busybox,Xionia CWMA Recovery). Wiped everything and flashed A28 and Gapps. Rebooted and success. So far everything is working. Man this is just amazing! Thanks to all.

Wiping cache will not remove the update. It is like deleting "temp" files in windows. It does not harm anything. But it does help correct the issues you are having. Sent from my MB865 using Android Central Forums
