    Can't get cut and paste to work

    Is the "long-tap" supposed to work on all text? I'm using Android v4.1.1 on an Acer tablet. I know I can copy/paste in gmail, but other text? How about the PDF file I'm reading? (I guess us long-time PC users are spoiled!) :o)
