Everything Lollipop - Compilation of Changes: L Preview/KitKat>Final Preview

Hey guys! I've been using the first L preview on my Nexus 5 since it was released, while using my Nexus 10 on KitKat at the same time. I'm picky, and I've been doing a lot of research, so I think I have a pretty good idea of the changes. There's a lot of subtle ones. So: everything I know! Feel...

    What's new in Android 4.4.1

Another very noticeable change: the Hangouts Message notification has a strong reverb. The echo sounds very nice! I like it a lot.

Jelly Bean, Ice Cream Sandwich or Gingerbread : Which is better?

I too am a Nexus user, that's why I haven't really experienced the issues that Karearea has mentioned. With Nexus devices, USB access is basically instantaneous and simple as anything. Just drag-drop with almost no initial setup. As for browsing - I can use Dolphin, Firefox, Chrome, Chrome Beta...

    Preventing unwanted Update

Sounds fair to me! :-) I'm just one of those who roots and installs custom ROMs just to be able to get access to the latest Android experience, so I obviously have a different viewpoint than you. (I don't use custom ROMs for this anymore, as I have a Galaxy Nexus and am switching to the Nexus 10...

    Preventing unwanted Update

What phone are you using? Before answering your question, if I can, I'd just like to know why you aren't upgrading and if possible clear up any misconceptions regarding the OS. I've seen nothing but improvements with Jelly Bean. LOVE the smoothness.

Jelly Bean, Ice Cream Sandwich or Gingerbread : Which is better?

USB: Could you explain this a bit more? I'm curious as to what you mean. Make sure MTP is used in the settings when you plug your phone into the computer, and you should be fine. Privacy: What do you mean by that? I'm fairly sure Gingerbread is the same if not worse in this area. Browsing: Then...

Android 4.3 - What do YOU want?

Re: Android 5.0 - What do YOU want? I would love this too, but until then - I use a PVSTAR+. It works amazingly, never skips a beat. The UI isn't fantastic, but it works and its not UGLY. It performs its job exactly as stated, and also has a Music Mode+repeat functions.

Android 4.3 - What do YOU want?

Re: Android 5.0 - What do YOU want? Feel a bit foolish now, normally I'm the one that checks for these sort of things! Regardless, I'd be fine if a moderator closed this topic in favour of the other 2 already existing. If not, then the discussion can continue - I think the layout and idea of...

Android 4.3 - What do YOU want?

5/1/2013 - Major Revision: Title edited to be more in line with recent rumors about the next version of Android being 4.3, rather than 5.0. We all know the next version of Android is coming soon. Since 4.1 Jelly Bean was released, I think it can be honestly said that Android has become a...
