Well mine is a brand new Sony XZ Premium (Nougat) and its doing it too. Simple fix is reboot every time I use an app. Very annoying!

Disregard. It was a setting in the Calendar App: Calendars Xperia with Facebook (Checked) I unchecked this and the facebook event disappeared.
