Re: Verizon and the X Pure I've never had Verizon, but I thought you need CMDA for voice calls at least. The pure edition does not do VoLTE yet. Besides, wouldn't Verizon's network identify the new IMEI after you put in the sim? Also I don't think the pure edition supports all the LTE bands...

There is no current known method to unlock Verizon Moto X 2014's bootloader.

I have tried using gsam, betterbatterystats+, and wakelock detector to figure out what is going on. It was always that network location provider thing that kept the phone awake. gsam always showed google play services as the top consumer of battery. I tried factory resetting, flashing back to kk...

Wow... over 4 hours of screen on time over 17 hours @ 21% battery... I can barely get about 2 hours of screen on time over a 15ish hour period... and that is with an excellent lte signal all the time... Sigh...

I have the pure edition XT1095, lollipop 5.0

It supposedly has OIS so that should help out a bit. My only complaint about the Moto X's camera is its infuriating inability to focus and overall cool/off looking colors. If Moto gave us some manual controls like manual focus it would make my life simpler... Even my $50 Lumia 635 can take...
