I can't go live on my Facebook. It's updated to the latest version. Is there a setting I have to change??

My phone does not go on screen timeout no matter how many times I change the settings. I have to do it manually but if I get a message it stays on. Could it be my phone conver? Or do I have to change something else on my settings. Posted via the Android Central App
