Try turning off Location services from the status bar pulldown. See how that works for a day. I'm having the same issue and I suspect it's either the "high accuracy" mode or I just have poor signal throughout the day so it's constantly struggling to get a better location.

I'm having issues with the "touch sound" that happens whenever you touch the screen. It plays the clicky sound, but it also randomly makes the speaker play a scratchy noise. Never happened with 6.0 Edit: hmm. Seems better after restart... Maybe it's due to the new advanced audio settings menu...

"Do a factory reset" is the default answer in every android problem thread. This is the first time I've heard someone suggest a factory reset on an out of the box, new device though.

Even if they did promise updates for years to come, I would still say : Don't buy hardware on the promise or hope of future software updates.

That's good. People on the nvidia forums are freaking the hell out because it's been 4 weeks and they haven't received replacements. I can't wait to receive my replacement so I can trade it in for something else :/ I've had a really poor experience with the shield tablet.
