I've noticed that when I tap the multi-tasking button, not only does it show all the apps I have open, it also show all the google searches I've done. This can be a bit of a pain as it means there's lots more things to swipe away! Anyone know if you can stop google searches showing up here?

I'm just thinking about whether or not i would use chromecast. I already have an Xbox so i can play youtube clips and Netflix on that. So I cant really see how it would benefit me?? Interested to know what other people think.

That's exactly what I was gonna say. I've never used apps from Amazon before. I went into settings and checked "allow apps from unknown sources" and then went to download the Tubemate app and the scary message came up and i backed out. I'm guessing it's completely safe to download...

I have a question, hopefully i'll make sense and someone can help me:) Say I want to download a tv programme onto my tablet but I'm not in a wifi hospot, so using 3g. Let's the the programme is 350mb, does that mean that downloading on 3g would use up 350mb of my data allowance?

I dont see how its piracy. The BBC, ITV, Channel 4 all have catch up tv apps allowing you to watch as much as you want. All i'm trying to do is download programmes to watch offline on my Nexus 7, rather than stream over the internet. Sent from my GT-I8150 using Tapatalk 2

Yeah we don't get TV shows on Google Play here in the UK so there aren't many options for downloading programmes. Suppose I'll need to wait until the BBC eventually add an option to download programmes to their iPlayer app.

Does anyone know of any apps where you can download TV shows so that they're available to watch offline?

Has anyone got any tips to keep the nexus 7 running fast?
