I didn't check my Bluetooth after doing it, but my OK Google didn't work and for some reason I couldn't answer incoming phone calls. Rebooted the phone and it corrected those issues. The sound went back to being lower, but not as low as it had originally been.

Open the app Device Help. Click on the fix tab. Under hardware choose speakers. If it doesn't improve the first time run it again. This should improve sound.

Used the "Device Help" Fix and it solved the volume issue. However, I could no longer use "OK Google" nor could I answer incoming calls! Rebooted the phone (not factory reboot), and the low volume returned, but I can no use OK Google and can answer incoming calls. Looks like I will have to stay...

My wife just got the Honor 5x and has lost both the icons for phone and messages. With no app drawer, I'm having a hard time finding them to recopy to her tray. At least contacts has both phone (left swipe) and messages (right swipe), but how can I recopy the icons? Thanks.

My OK Google had the empty microphone on it after I first upgraded. When I tapped on it and it opened and I said OK Google it worked and from that point on the microphone on my home screen has been filled.

My pulldown doesn't look like that either. Still looks the same as it did with KitKat.

I'm happy with another performance and better battery life after the upgrade without a factory reset so don't see any need to do one.

Been using Textra for some time now. Seems to have come through the upgrade unscathed.

Updated this morning. Actually done in two parts and the first one went without a problem, the second part took longer, and it appeared to get hung up about 35% but I just waited and it eventually completed. After updating all apps and restarting, I also got the message to update Google Play...

Just got android 5 on my nexus 7 and it tends to run slow so I have to keep shutting down. I'd rather wait until the big ate fixed before I upgrade my G3.
