Judging from the replies it seems that I should fork up the cash for a regular 64 microsdhc class 10 card. Is this really the only solution? Does the problem lie with my microsdxc's gigantic capacity or the fancy exfat format it advertises? It is hard to believe that all of the amazon reviewers...

Thanks for the response. So does this mean that my first mistake was bumping external memory up from 32 gigs? If I move back down to a 32 microsdxc card, will this likely solve my problems?
