Yes, very similar. I find I sometimes have a fast solid connection which suddenly stops. Every app will say an internet connection is required, or can't reach server etc etc. The 'H' symbol is shown, sometimes 3G. Selecting airplane mode for a few minutes and then switching back sometimes...

Not yet. They say a update is available on their support page, I called them about 2 weeks ago and they blamed HTC. I think think someone at orange jumped the gun and posted the update info even though they haven't finalised it yet.
