    Wi-Fi Calling fiasco

Wait so they offered you a new phone because wifi calling was messed up? As in new Optimus without the update or new Android phone? I might have to try to exploit this to get a discount on a Nexus S soon... But yeah as far as I know being rooted voids your warranty, so I would unroot and get...

    Wiimote?

FWIW none of them are working on my Optimus T either, and I'd assume they use the same bluetooth radio.

    deleting T-mobile bookmarks

...and apparently accidentally booting back to the stock recovery undoes that work and they come back, but I think I can still go back in and just do it again.

    [Custom Recovery] Optimus T/ T-Mobile

Ok, I think I got this to work but... after reboot recovery my phone rebooted, got to a screen with a picture of an android coming out of a box, appeared to reboot again, and is now asking me to set the phone up for the first time. Did I miss something? It looks like I'm just going to have to...

    deleting T-mobile bookmarks

In case anyone else wanted to do the same, I finally figured this out. It's a total pain in the neck all because T-Mobile felt like locking these down, but this is what I ended up finding that worked: [Q] How to remove preloaded bookmarks in rooted Optimus 1? - xda-developers Once you get a...

    deleting T-mobile bookmarks

Yes, that is the first thing I tried. The carrier-installed bookmarks (web2gohome, Facebook, T-Mobile Store, Yahoo! Mail, CNN and Fox Sports) appear to be protected, and "Delete" is not and option that comes up on the long-press menu on these.

    deleting T-mobile bookmarks

Is there a way to delete the carrier installed bookmarks from the default browser? I most definitely do not need a link to web2go, or the other crap they put on there. I read in this thread (ctrl+f bookmarks) that these guys did it with their Rogers phones through ADB shell, but I get a...

    [How-To] Root LG Optimus T

Ah, that was it, thanks! I was doing it with the screen locked and off, so I wasn't seeing that. Also you guys seemed to have missed it: I installed the OTA from a few days ago and got wifi calling, and then rooted my phone a day later. Works fine now. Probably not something I should have...

    Optimus Recovery Mode

This reset my phone to factory default everything, and the second key combination didn't do anything. :( I'm glad I did a full backup with titanium backup right before I tried this.

    [How-To] Root LG Optimus T

Followed the steps verbatim, no root. I got all the way to the part where you go back into the adb shell to see if you've got #, and I still have a $. I also tried the z4root app and did abosultely nothing for me, spun for awhile, said it was working, restarted, and no root. I did install an...
