Whites have a pinkish hue, greys are purplish

The next one may have just as good signal and better display. If not, that one goes back. I'm not going to swap one problem for another, which is what they're betting most consumers will do. It's a real crap shoot with Verizon warranty department.

Whites have a pinkish hue, greys are purplish

Return it. The screen is trash. I've received more than my fair share "cln" devices. And the majority were plagued with the purple screen issue. Many of which had 0 calls/hours and never activated. Either that or the odometer was reset. I personally think the screens are being replaced with low...

would you buy a 2nd VZW Galaxy Nexus for free as a spare? (deactivated it after a few days)

Actually, only new/additional lines will me shared/limited data. Just did this a few weeks ago when the nexus was free with a new line. Original lines are still unlimited data, new ones have 2gb cap.

Let's guess how long our JB official OTA will take!

I know. Much more stable than 4.0.4 radios..

Let's guess how long our JB official OTA will take!

I could give two craps about the stock Verizon jelly bean. Its the radio software bundled in this turd-burger that I wanted. So, thank you verizon.

    Replacement Nexus is disapointing

Just a follow up. It appears the new (leaked) radios V.FF02/FG02 address this issue. No more drops on the. 10 baseband anymore. And they managed not to break the older baseband in the process!

Will iPhone 5 launch bog down LTE network?

Heh heh.. It's funny cuz it's true.

Will iPhone 5 launch bog down LTE network?

I would hope Verizon has been ramping up their network in anticipation. On a sidenote, I saw this: First Look: iPhone 5 - YouTube

Verizon's Galaxy S3 vs G-Nexus(which is better?) [HD]

I can't really offer an opinion on the stock battery, as mine came with the 2100 and I really have no complaints there. Plus, it is nfc compatible, so wallet still works fine. Which reminds me, no wallet when I had the S3, which kinda sucked. But "which is better" is kind of subjective. For me...

Verizon's Galaxy S3 vs G-Nexus(which is better?) [HD]

Like I said, I had both. For about 10 days, nexus in one pocket, S3 in the other. Time after time, it was the nexus I preferred to use. The S3, not so much. Now, I know you're not comparing "my verizon" to the amount of bloat that comes on the S3, now are you? Many who root and rom go to great...

Verizon's Galaxy S3 vs G-Nexus(which is better?) [HD]

What I like about Nexus: No Verizon bloat, buttonless curved screen, huge development community. Spec-wise, aside from a SD slot, very similar. To me, the Galaxy Nexus is just a more attractive handset. S3 just isn't much of an upgrade. Never thought the S3 touchwiz UI felt as intuitive as the...

Verizon's Galaxy S3 vs G-Nexus(which is better?) [HD]

I pre-ordered the galaxy s3 32gb model as my final discounted handset from verizon. While it does have a couple nice features, I still prefer the nexus over it. Definately didnt "blow the nexus out the water" in any area. Was kinda unimpressed. Sold the s3 on Craigslist last week. Bought a spare...

Build Number IMM76Q - Service drop fix.

From my testing of several handsets, 12.xx hardware rev (tested 12.01), which shows as baseband I515.10 can suffer this..I just received a 12.07 rev but haven't tested yet. Do you get signal drops? It's my contention that when newer h/w rev is paired with older radio software, is when problems...

Build Number IMM76Q - Service drop fix.

11.11 should be showing you a baseband of I515.9. And you're getting signal drops!? (Edit) I misread. You're not getting signal drops, and that's why! You're now on one that has radio software that's built around the older hardware specification. Guard that baby with your life!
