I had no data at all on a G7. Yesterday I tried resetting APN to defaults and it fixed it, at least at home. I guess I will have to see how it does in other locations. 1. Settings. 2. Network & Internet. 3. Mobile Network. 4. Access Point Names. 5. Touch the Menu Icon. 6. Reset to Default.

settings/language and keyboard/google voice typing/"ok google" detection. Enabled "from any screen". Did the voice training (say ok google 3x). fixed this issue. for 10 min so far
