Android 4.4.3 for Verizon HTC One M8??

Laugh of the day On their web page about the new software "upgrade," Verizon has provided us with some humor for the day: This is from: Software Update: All New HTC One® (M8) | Verizon Wireless, the link for the Software Update Instructions, in .pdf format. At the bottom of the pdf, you...

Rezound versus iPhone ... Rezound let's YOU be in charge!

Did you notice that on the Verizon page you linked, the procedure to save your existing voice mail is given only if you have the $3.00 per month feature "Visual Voicemail from Verizon. If you don't have it, you have to go to a link they provide, and a third party company will save your messages...

Wow, would make a nice present for my wife. Much easier for her to carry and use than her Fujitsu laptop.

    ICS

I might have used the wrong version numbers in that post you quoted. Here is the explanation that I gave on AF. If I'm wrong and it was 4.0.3 and 4.0.4, I'm sorry, didn't mean to confuse up the works. I might have gotten the version numbers for the ICS upgrade wrong, but I could almost swear...

    ICS

Got it! That is an ICS, Sense 3.6 home screen at the top of the "View Phone Information" page, isn't it?

    Rezound Official ICS Update Shelved?

But, according to a new post on gottabemobile.com, the Rez ICS OTA is approved by Verizon, in the queue to send out and should be out soon. See the link to gottabemobile and my post about conversation with VZW this evening on this thread...

    ICS

I contacted Verizon about something else this evening and inquired about the ICS update while I was on the phone with them. A tech support representative named Josh told me that the ICS update for the Rezound has been approved by Verizon, and it is just a matter of time before the release. He...

VZW put commitment to ICS upgrade for Rez in writing on news site

Re: VZW put commitment to ICS upgrade for Rez in writing on news Emphasis added. Funny you should word it that way because Verizon sure hasn't been honest about what they are doing with their phones that they are selling us, are they? Your argument seems to have suffered a fail.

    An email to verizion.

Again, I agree with you cbbartley. You are right, the problem is more than ICS. It is more than Verizon, although they are part of the problem. And, it is more than HTC, although I think that HTC might not be to blame in this case. The problem is with so many corporations and politicians...

    An email to verizion.

That is a great post cbbartley. Well explained and well reasoned. "It's amazing how lazy this country is." -- For decades I've said that if the public back in the early 1770's was like the public today, we'd all still be loyal subjects of the British Crown.

    An email to verizion.

The ICS upgrade is promised. The word they used is "will," not a phrase like "is ready for." See this thread:http://forums.androidcentral.com/verizon-htc-rezound/193484-vzw-put-commitment-ics-upgrade-rez-writing-news-site.html

VZW put commitment to ICS upgrade for Rez in writing on news site

Verizon actually put their promise of an upgrade to ICS in print, on their news web site. They also said/committed to "early 2012." It may show up elsewhere too, but it is certainly on the news site. So for those of you that are getting impatient, you can now read their own words back to them...

HTC sells half of its shares in Beats Audio

I think you are correct there. The stories linked above state that HTC will still have exclusivity with Beats technology in Smartphones. One story, that I did not link, said that HTC has found that having the Beats technology in a phone is something that can drive a purchase decision, but not...
