I thought it was a hardware issue, so apparently they can change something in the OS and have it working with local LTE?

A friend recently got an HTC M8 Asian Version, due to the network, it doesn't receive the LTE signal from this hemisphere. I heard from somebody that they could hack the OS and have it working with the local network and show LTE signal. Thanks for your collaboration. Will.

Thanks for your reply, but nope, it didn't work, it just changed to the original default icon, but if I try to use a different icon pack, all of the icons change except for this one, it remains with the default. Any other ideas? Posted via Android Central App
