I am also having this problem. I tried deleting my Google account and then adding it back again. The contacts appeared while they were initially syncing but then the error returned and my contacts are gone. Was there some kind of update that could have had a bug?

Yes I am having the same problem. I have my alarm set to go off every day Mon through Fri at seven am. Some times the alarm de-selects random days of the week on its own. I can't depend on the alarm because it just doesn't go off some mornings because of this issue... Very odd.
