Push the settings button select wifi then push the settings button again Select advanced settings then uncheck the box that says automatically connect to att hot spots

That's not an issue on the note 3. I have an official samsung usb otg cable and a 64gb SanDisk thumb drive and it works perfectly

I have 100% control of my sd card still after the kitkat update. No issues at all this is probably why we had to wait att did it right

Don't get me wrong I really like my note 3 and if it wasn't for jailbreaking apple would be boring. I ask myself if all phones were the same size would I have switched to android?? The answer is no

The only settings I changed were name, apn, mmsc, multimedia message proxy and multimedia message port. I left the rest alone
