Interesting it's a BMW....a friend of mine had the S6 paired with a beemer, he tried 3 different S6's due to the same problem you describe. He'd previously had no issues with his S4 or S5 either. As you mention you have no probs with the Audi, I'd say BMW have done something to their system...

Did you ever get this resolved? I've had the same thing since I got my HTC One and it's getting really annoying now after 'putting up with it' from the start, because I was so pleased with everything else about the phone!!

I've got a Brodit kit for my car...instead of a particular kind of holder for each phone though, I've got the universal (adjustable) holder so my wife's BB will go in too when she has the car... Great bit of quality kit and will deffo be getting this from now on, in every car I have!

Hard to believe but 2 MONTHS after the OP...this is still an issue. Thankfully, I don't reboot very often but rather than going through the Swype set up again, you just have to open a text field (such as an sms) and in the notification bar you'll see a keyboard icon appear... Just drag it down...

Thanks for your help guys...sorted now ;) My problem was compounded by the fact I use Nova Launcher....I removed defaults from it, and hit the Home icon, went into the App drawer as you said and did the shortcuts in there, then re-enabled Nova as my default launcher. thanks again...(now, if...

Hi Loving my HTC One so far but I've come across one or two issues though, the first is re: the lockscreen icons; I set up my wallpaper lockscreen with it's four icons and all was good. However, I uninstalled one of them ( a dialer app) and now it's left one of those little green android icons...

I'm absolutely loving my new One after a few years with Sammy's. I've literally 'just' started to look at the Gallery app and was amazed at the trickery it automatically does when entering it. I don't know if it's buggy, or I'm not doing something right (probably the latter I'd guess :p)...
