Re: [FREE] [GAME] Super Penguin! A fast paced arcade game. I used GM:Studio for this project. It's cross-platform if you buy the additional modules. & created the graphics using the built-in sprite editor.

Best platformer controls for a mobile game?

Splitting the screen in to "segments" is a really cool idea. I don't know if other games have tried this before, have you tested that in a game before? I'll try it tomorrow and see how it feels.

Best platformer controls for a mobile game?

Thanks for the input, zchira. You mean using tap-to-jump even while using the "left & right screen-touching controls"? [FREE][2.3+] Space Thing!

Tilt controls work well. Maybe there should be a speed-o-meter of some kind though? A few times I lost because I didn't realise I was going too slow! Also I suggest you make your screenshots in the 1st post smaller. Can't see anything when they're that big! Cheers, Will

[Free Game] Breaking Brain - Training Your Brain

Tried it on my 7" tablet and the graphics were very pixelated! Other than that, it's fun. I feel like there should be a timer showing you how much time you have left. And there's no reason why you can't support portrait as well as landscape, is there? Will

[FREE][GAME] Teppit | 30 seconds. One goal. Tap the button!

Re: [FREE] Teppit - one annoying game Extremely simple and actually pretty fun. I don't think you should advertise it as "annoying". To me, annoying not a good thing. I do not want to be annoyed! Also I wouldn't force google play games services on everyone - alllow them to choose whether they...

Best platformer controls for a mobile game?

Hi all, I want to get your opinions about control schemes for 2D platformer games. There are a number methods that I know of: Virtual buttons: These are easy to implement, but I don't like them. I find them difficult to use as they don't provide the tactile feedback that a real button does...
