I, too, am experiencing this issue. I've noticed that when I'm on LTE, and I call my voicemail, for example, it doesn't even last 7 seconds before the call cuts off, and then I look at the signal icon, and it's dropped to "No signal" and then pops back up to "LTE", and then to "3G".
