    Nah no different cables....literally plugging straight in as it previously was.....and port does still work with a laptop. Yeah could try cleaning it though as it is an outside TV...didn't think of it as port was still working but worth a go....cheers!

    Yep...when I reconnect chromecast it actually shows brief chromecast.... message on screen then nothing. The when casting via chromecast shows as casting on phone but nothing so seems to be connecting yet showing nothing

    Yes - tried to reset TV but same.....yet the hdmi points work with laptop no problems. So essentially the chromecast works....the hdmi ports work....chromecast has always been fine on this TV.....chromecast still seems to connect on TV but now black screen!?
