Bought ASUS ZenPad S 8 Z580CA-C1-BK for $249 a few days ago. Excellent deal. Bough Z-Stylus for it too - also excellent. Apparently several system updates since initial comments. Can not beat it for this price.

I also can confirm that cables make a difference. I recently bought the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note III, it comes with a 2 amp charger and a usb 3 cable. I found it charged quite quickly with that supplied charger and cable. It will also accept a standard micro usb cable, and I already have...
