what about getting unlocked one from HTC web site? will it work on ATT. it said it will not work on Tmobile.

recently bought HTC Vivid. tried to setup IMAP account requiring SSL. unable to send but receiving email is OK. mail program was force closed when i went through account setup again. i tried a couple of Vivid in ATT store (thanks Alexis) and got same result. i don't know if it just Vivid or HTC...
