UPDATE #2 Finally, as of 4/13?19, the old-time, gone away Samsung tablet (2 instances) is gone. Why? Who knows. Still no "delete" button...

UPDATE. As of today (4/4/19). the old, returned-as-defective Note 9 is no longer listed on "Your devices." Why is took so long to go away, I have no idea. I can't say if the Pie update had anything to do with it. The big tomato-red option banner to "remove device" is still not there. So...

Huh. After Pie update to Verizon Note 9, BT connectivity with my PC went away. The phone could see the PC and the PC could see the phone, but BT swaps failed consistently. Now a simple restart seems to restore functionality. Guess I'll have to turn on auto restart. Nice, Samsung, nice.

You know, the fix didn't last - the bad performance was revealed as a telling symptom, and the whole thing failed completely next day, like dead. The thing had only been in use 15 months. Went down the street and bought a TP-Link dual band. Plays nice with the Nighthawk extender, too. Happy...
