Switching from iPhone 6s to Pixel 2 on T-Mobile

Hi Everyone, I'm on T-Mobile and I currently have an iPhone 6s. Previously I had a Moto X, but for a number of reasons I switched to an iPhone. I'm thinking seriously about switching to Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL instead of an iPhone 8 or 8 Plus. If I go with the Pixel 2 and have it shipped to me...

Moto Maker Wood: Ebony, Teak, Walnut coming 2014-01-21

Re: Moto X Wood: Walnut, Teak, Ebony out Jan 21st I checked it out too and I really like the teak or the oak. I really wish you could do a matching wood front as well. That would be awesome!

Thinking of Switching from Verizon to T-Mobile

Thanks. That's an interesting suggestion. I'll see what that looks like with our cash supply. - - - Updated - - - Thanks. That's a good idea too. I do like the Moto X, so I'll take a look at that.

Possibly Switching from Verizon to T-Mobile

Thanks. That's what I'm leaning towards doing, but it's nice to get some additional feedback.

Possibly Switching from Verizon to T-Mobile

That is true. I'll take a look at it, but I'm not sure our cash flow will let us buy two phones out right.

Thinking of Switching from Verizon to T-Mobile

Unfortunately, our only two lines are both unlimited. That's a smart idea though. I suspect we'll have to give up our unlimited data or switch to T-Mobile. I'm not sure buying two phones outright is going to work with our cash flow.

Do you have any suggestions for a reasonably priced off-contract phone that's compatible with Verizon? Just trying to weigh all of our options.

Thinking of Switching from Verizon to T-Mobile

Thanks. That's very helpful to know. I'd consider sticking with Verizon if we could keep our unlimited data AND not have to be stuck with a contract. Any suggestions on reasonably priced off contract phones? As I recollect the Nexus 5 won't work with Verizon so it'd have to be something else.

Possibly Switching from Verizon to T-Mobile

Thanks. I'm leaning towards T-Mobile because of the contract thing. Also, the last time I was in a Verizon store I didn't like their hard selling. T-Mobile does it too, but the store near us didn't seem to be quite as pushy.

Thanks. That's helpful to know. Yes, that may have been me on another thread. Since we've decided to switch from iPhones, I thought I should jump into the Android community.

Thanks for all of the information everyone. It's given me a lot to consider.

Possibly Switching from Verizon to T-Mobile

Hi Everyone, I live in San Diego and the coverage is about the same for both carriers. If we stick with Verizon we'll get either Moto Xs or LG G2s. If we switch to T-Mobile we'll get Nexus 5s. The cost is about the same, though with T-Mobile that includes being in the JUMP program for both...

Switching to Android from iPhone 4s

Thanks for all of the great responses. I'll have to take a look at the Sony Z1s at the T-Mobile store. Still, their ongoing level of support does worry me. I'm still leaning toward the Nexus 5 or Moto X and that will probably depend on which carrier we go with. One more question, what sort of...

Switching to Android from iPhone 4s

T-Mobile just got the new Sony Z1S. Any thoughts on how that compares with the other phones mentioned?
