She leaves the Fit app on the watch set to walking all the time. Don't know if the step count would be automatic if not set to walking.

My wife did a check walking without the phone. The watch counted the steps as noted on the watch google fit app. When reconnected via bluetooth the step count on the phone google fit was updated.

We got one, it works on our Style.

There is a light vibration and the incoming screen lights up with caller's name if in your contact list otherwise the caller's number. You can then tap to accept or dismiss the call.

My wife has had a style since they came out, no issues with the stem knob like what you are seeing. You should exchange it. BYW, my wife is overall happy with the style.

Agreed, also wifi off and gestures rather than display always on. Also the 1st day with any new electronic toy is always a battery killer. You know lots of having to check everything out.

Thanks for the price info! I got one from Best Buy online for my wife's birthday for $249.99 delivered in the past week. I just got off the phone with Best Buy and they will refund the $70 difference. :)

Admittedly it was more straightforward to "hang up" with the phone that was in my grandfather's farm house.:D And if you ever wondered where the phrase "hang up" came from it was from using old phones like this. On my S6? I tap the red circle with the phone icon.
