Thanks guys! I previously modified an android tablet, just wanted to find out how many have began running new software on their OP5!

Has anyone run any custom firmware on the OP5 be it a Custom Recovery or a custom OS. Would just like to know how easy it is to run and how smooth it's capable at doing so!

Thanks, I wonder what new features they could potentially bring to the table to give them an edge other than just the price for what specs you get!

In comparison to the likes of Samsung, Apple, OP are a new company. And I understand that they should be stepping up the mark, but you can't expect them to be as innovative as the larger companies because they purely don't have the cash to splash on R&D like the others!

Considering how far OP has come in comparison to other companies that have been around and have a lot more tech at their disposal to even be critical of them in comparison to well seasoned veterans of the mobile phone market is obsurd.

I would've probably said the OP Screen Protector would be the better option but yeah would love to know whether 3rd party ones can compete quality and price wise!

It would've made sense for OP to allow for use of QC 3.0 as it would be a lot more handy for battery packs which have the QC feature, rather than having to fork for proprietary battery packs and chargers. Obviously DC is the fastest out of the two but it seems odd that it would only have support...

It's really down to preference, I'd probably pick the OP5 simply due to it being on par with a few sacrifices for less cost, would love to see OP introduce IP certification in their next iteration though!

The only thing the Honor 8 Pro has going for it is the additional storage capability, the OnePlus 5 still trumps it in almost every other aspect.

I'd probably go for the 128GB and 8GB RAM variant, plus the midnight black colour just makes the phone look so sleek and adds to the factor of it being a beast of a machine, I mean the 8GB RAM is complete overkill in some respects but you can't complain when the phone runs so fast and smooth!

Do you reckon OnePlus will implement IP certification on their next iteration? Because that's what I'm debating whether to either get a Galaxy S8 or a OP5.
