Okay, yeah... that's much better. I have to stretch my finger a bit awkwardly to reach it, but from preliminary testing, it works about 95% of the time. Wish they would've put the power button a bit lower if the middle finger is the optimal finger to use. Anyway, thanks for the help. You saved...

Thanks, but that only helped marginally. Half the time it tells me to cover the entire sensor or wipe it off. (Sensor is clean, finger is dry). Sometimes when it misfires I can keep my finger in the exact same spot and then it works on the subsequent retry. To the person who asked, I'm using...

Unfortunately, I'm having the exact opposite experience, which is why I came here to see if others were too. Despite having the same fingerprint added 4 times, mine only works when it wants to. Sometimes it absolutely refuses to unlock the phone. Very fast when it works, but I'd say my success...

I want to turn these off, but I have absolutely NO IDEA which app is causing them.

I don't know if you guys have noticed, but the official camera app also does this when you record videos in landscape mode, if the volume buttons are up top. However, this will only be apparent if you transfer the videos to a PC. How the hell does a bug like this make it into production code???

If this phone doesn't have an OLED display, I'd imagine that's going to be harsh on the battery. Does it work like the Moto X, where you can glance across the room to see if you have notifications? Or do you actually have to pick it up/nudge it?

Folks on Reddit are saying it doesn't have one. Has this been confirmed? If so ... No wireless charging? Fine. Only 2gb of RAM? Sucks, but I can live with it. No notification LED? Are you kidding me!?! At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if they confirmed it was shipping without a headphone...

This. The Galaxy Nexus was released over 3 years ago, and I doubt the other phones mentioned are much to write home about. But that is the rub with Android, isn't it? You go buy and iPhone and you're almost guaranteed to get a quality phone. You buy an Android phone, and it's really a crapshoot...

What time is the G4 event tomorrow (28th), and are they going to live stream it? Sorry if this info was posted, but I don't see it... every site says the 28th, and a few mention 4pm, but they don't say what time zone.

This is not the first time they've completely crippled this app. Not so long ago, I fired it up one day to find that all of my playlists were gone. They need to fire whoever is head of QA on this project. The real irony of it all is that the iPad app has no such issues :P

I noticed the exact same problem today on my Note 10.1 2014 - seems okay on my Moto X, so maybe just a tablet issue?
