No, in my opinion. The screen sits higher than the case does around the sides.

Thanks for the suggestions, I just checked out the Presidio but that thing is a visual monstrosity in my opinion. Also, it appears that the Defender doesn't have a raised lip around the sides after watching a video on it. This has been quite challenging.

It's a fantastic phone, I've never owned an S5 (though I did own the S3 and S4) but it might have lagged due to TouchWiz which has been improved on the Note 5. I always use Apex launcher regardless of what phone I have. The Note 5 was great out of the box with no noticeable lag whatsoever...
