    [APP]install Google Maps 6 and 7 and use them together[Root/NoRoot] - xda-developers The cool thing about this old Maps/Nav APK Is that it runs in parallel with the new Maps, so updates to new Maps will not disable it.

    I have PdaNet+ / FoxFi and it works fine on my HTC One with a WIndows 7 laptop- in all modes, wifi included. And, I am on the grandfathered unlimited plan.
