I bought a clear case that has separate cutouts for camera, flash, and fingerprint reader; this makes it very easy to find the fingerprint reader and I use it with no issues every day. Recommend you buy a case that has separate cutouts.
The one I bought was from amazon.ca, see...
Re: how can I block texts frhow do I block a text
I use Pulse on my S8+, PC, and tablet, when you open a conversation, click on the 3 dots and select Blacklist contact. BYW, I highly recommend Pulse; it works well on all my devices.
I've owned an S8+ for about 9 months and I always found the fingerprint scanner difficult to use. However, I just updated to Android 8 (Bell) and I find it a lot easier to use now; I also use a clear case with a separate cutout for the scanner and it is very easy to find it (I use my left index...
After trying a number of different cases, I've ended up with the Otterbox Defender case. It is an excellent fit and it looks like part of the phone with no gaps etc. I also like the belt clip (which I use) that can be used as a viewing stand. It also works with the wireless chargers that I've...

I just bought an i-Blason Prime [Kickstand] **Heavy Duty** [Dual Layer] Combo Holster Cover case with [Locking Belt Swivel Clip] for LG G4. Installs and fits very well; kickstand looks a bit flimsy. Phone clips into belt holster and seems very secure and easy to release from the holster.
My Nexus 7 (2013) LTE was updated OTA to 6.0 (Build MRA58V) with no issues in November. Just noticed there is an OTA update to 6.0.1 (64.9MB); I'm downloading and installing now.
Nexus 7 (2013) is still an excellent buy. It can be updated to Android 6 and it runs well and fast. I have Android 6 installed on my Nexus 7 LTE (2013) and my wife's Nexus 7 (2013). It is still, in my opinion, one of the best buys out there.
Just installed via the OTA update. Installed quickly. Had problems with touch screen afterwards; doing a clear cache seems to have fixed problem (power off; power on-volume down; etc).

The only way I could get this to work on my Nexus 7 & LTE (2013):
Power down
Press and hold Power and Volume Up buttons until got dead Android icon
Press Power button and then Volume Up button and then released both
View menu with wipe cache partition item
Still works same way on Android 5.1.1
