From what I've read the new 5.5 Nexus will cost significantly more than what you can get the N6P for via the Fire deal. So will the new phone be worth possibly $200 or $300 more to you? That is how I would look at it.

Thank you. You mentioned Google Drive where I do have an account but I do not see how to access GD from My Files. I see Dropbox but not GD. Is there a setting for that?

Okay I just picked up my Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and am really enjoying it. But here's my issue. I want to be able to routinely copy files (Word docx, PDF, etc) from my desktop which is on my home network to the ext MicroSD card. I use to be able to do this is my Nexus 7 using ES File Explorer...

I use Keep on my desktop, laptop, phone, and Nexus 7. All stay sync'ed. You just need to make sure each device is signed into the same Google account.

I use Google Contacts. I use my desktop computer to manage my contacts and the contacts will update to all my mobile devices automatically as long as I'm logged into my Google account. You should be able to export you present contacts and then import into Google Contacts.

I use Textra and send/receive texts via my wifi. It works perfectly. You need to make sure Textra is set as your default Text program under the phone's setting>Data>More.... Also, if your texts are MMS, you may have to setup the APN according to your cellular service provider.

Now you know at least one reason why BB sales have declined.

The camera is good enough for my needs. Some don't like it (may even hate it) but it is fine for me. Obviously, suitability would be different for each user. I don't think Lenovo spent billions to screw up this product. I suspect it will be updated in the future.

I use QR Droid. It works.

Re: At this point would you go google play edition of the regular moto g? I went with the standard one. I'm using AT&T now but I wanted the ability to use T-mobile if I decide so in the future.
