I always switch the USB setting to "Charge Only" before unplugging the phone. I've never had that issue with my Evo or MoPho

I get that, but there's really no reason to have locked it to one orientation, unless they are worried about people mounting their doc on the ceiling and plugging the phone in upside down lol. At any rate it should be an easy software fix, the question is just when they get around to it.

Unless something has changed that I am not aware of, the $130 dock is actually $99.99 now. Also, if you are Premier, you can buy a 2nd accessory and get 25% off both. So you can already get this dock for close to 50% off what you thought it cost. Granted, that's not $25 like you were hoping...
