I am using the cord that came with the phone. My wife runs windows7 on her laptop and when I plug the phone into her computer, it updates drivers automatically and works fine. That is why I think it is a driver issue.

Anyone else having issues getting WindowsXP to recognized the phone when you plug it in using USB. The phone has a window pop up that the device is not recognized. I think it might be because I do not have the correct drivers. My google searching has lead to nothing but spam and dead ends...

It's shipping 11/27 so if your lucky you will have it by 11/28 but most of us will have it 11/29 when it's available in stores. Stop with this shipping early delusion.

Thank you for sharing. I was not expecting anything before 11/29 but the rumors and speculation did give me hope. Our worst fears have come true and sadly there will be no early release date.

I had an issue with billing so I had to call Verizon CS. At the end of our conversation I asked if he knew about a release date for note 2. He said the expected ship dates are usually close but is the absolute latest it can ship. I would not expect an early release.

It should be through your confirmation email. It lists the ship by date in the email, but you can probe further by putting the pre-order confirmation number in the "Check Your Order Status" link along with your last name.
