QuickPic will replace your gallery app as default and allow you to omit what folders you want to show/hide. I do believe it will allow for list view as well.

It's been documented over at XDA that the option to remove geo-tagging was removed with the 2.2 update. I'm non-rooted, used the update.zip and that is the case for me. Now I have gallery folders named by their location...very annoying as I had it turned off before.

App2SD is a good app that will help in moving apps to SD. It has a notification upon an apps installation to let you know if you can move it, and it can scan your phone for all apps eligible for movement.
