Could be bloatware.....the bugs are similar to others.....dropping wifi for a second and then picking back up. Slightly abnormal battery drainage. Some settings not saving....ie go into app manager and turn off notifications......go back later and it's back on....etc... But from others who got...

It's mk3.....it's the version you can get from kies or the original zip from xda the day they got it. I downloaded the stock zip from xda and installed that way. Sprint zone diagnostics confirms that the kies version is not Sprints final version. Like I said previously....I had read somewhere...

So I did the 4.3 update by downloading from xda. The stock version....supposedly official. I had read that the ota from Sprint was a larger file but off course I dismissed it and went on about my business. I hooked up my phone to pc and checked kies...it said I had the most current update and...

Do same thing but tap on android version several times quickly....lol You can then Swype and more will show up....you can then flick away lol. ....you will see.

Re: Knox I'm honestly impressed with Knox....even though it's annoying I can see it's usefulness for enterprise solutions. Lol they supposedly worked with the NSA to develop it. Which might make it harder or easier lol..... someone email Mr.Snowden lol he might know? Probably shouldn't have...

Sometimes....some apps use different cache folders. I'd clear all data first then uninstall

Exchange services isn't Samsung.....calender isn't either. You turned off too much. If you use the email app instead if gmail you will need exchange on. I would leave calender on....etc The stuff with the Samsung name in it should be fine as long as you don't use S voice and the like

Have you tried turning off, rebooting into recovery and just leaving it in recovery mode....then usb to pc? Not sure if it will let you connect while in recovery.....but worth a shot before dismantling.

Got Netflix.....might have had that issue but I uninstalled and reinstalled most apps. I don't have that issue at this point. So maybe uninstall....clear cache....reinstall....

Re: Knox Just go into settings, more, security, device administrators.....you should see knox there....and personally I would uncheck out lol

Some of those I left on.... ie calender and weather I use both. But most of that's ok... I did change the input to Swype.

Shut off all the Samsung crap.... ie chaton, allshare etc... Go into to each app....there is a lot you can turn off if you don't use. Then I restarted, cleared cache, end tasks....drained battery down to almost 0 then powered off and did full charge. After that I'm getting usual battery...

Good point.....didn't think about it that way..... My impression from the article was that they left intact but simply rendered unusable for now. It's almost as if they were trying to find a middle ground for consumers and devs. You would think they know that anyone interested in this option...

Yep folks....Knox is always on. ALWAYS! I would still take away the administrative privileges though.
